Product Overview

The NPS01-FBC7 AC 1+1P Surge Protective Device is a Type 1+2 combined surge protection unit specially designed for single-phase TT and IT grounding systems. It complies with EN/IEC 61643-11 and GB/T 18802.11 standards and meets Type 1+2 / Class I+II protection requirements.


Featuring a phase line and neutral line protection structure, the device provides independent L-PE and N-PE discharge paths. It is particularly suitable for systems with isolated neutral points or high-impedance grounding applications, including industrial facilities, chemical plants, and rail transportation power networks.
The compact 36mm housing adopts standard 35mm DIN rail mounting, with Uc voltage options from 275V to 440V.

Graphite Spark Gap + MOV Cascaded Structure for Stable Protection

The internal protection circuit combines graphite spark gaps with zinc oxide varistors, creating a coordinated multi-stage protection system. The spark gap effectively handles high-energy lightning surges, while the varistor provides precise voltage clamping for secondary protection.

 

This design prevents follow current after surge discharge and minimizes leakage current during normal operation. The conductive path uses high-purity copper busbars and tin-plated terminals, ensuring low contact resistance and excellent current carrying capability.

 

The enclosure adopts UL94V-0 flame-retardant thermoplastic material with IP20 protection. Automated assembly processes and complete aging tests ensure consistent quality and long service life.

 

7kA Lightning Protection Capacity with Thermal Disconnection and Remote Monitoring

The device supports an impulse current capacity of 7kA (10/350μs), nominal discharge current (In) of 20kA (8/20μs), and maximum discharge current (Imax) of 50kA. The voltage protection level can reach 1.2kV, with a response speed of ≤25ns (100ns in NPE mode).

 

The integrated thermal disconnector automatically isolates the module when overheating or failure occurs. The visual indicator changes from green to red to clearly show the operating status.

 

Optional remote alarm contacts support AC 250V/0.5A switching capacity for connection to monitoring systems. The product operates between -40℃ and +80℃ and supports 4-25mm² cable connections, making it suitable for high-reliability single-phase industrial power protection.
