50kA Ultra-High Current Two-Pole Protection, Ultimate Surge Protection for Critical Single-Phase Systems
Product Overview
The NPS01-FA50 AC 2P Surge Protective Device is a Type 1/Class I pure spark-gap surge protection device designed for critical single-phase power distribution systems. It complies with IEC 61643-11 and GB/T 18802.11 standards and has passed Class I impulse current testing.
Featuring a two-pole integrated design with independent L-PE and N-PE high-capacity graphite spark gaps, the device provides an impulse current capability of up to 50kA (10/350μs waveform), effectively discharging high-energy direct lightning currents. It is ideal for the incoming power protection of critical single-phase systems in data centers, medical facilities, communication hubs, and other important applications.

Independent High-Capacity Graphite Gap, Zero Leakage Current and Long Service Life
The device adopts large-capacity high-purity graphite spark-gap technology, providing excellent follow-current interruption capability and high energy withstand performance. After lightning discharge, it quickly cuts off power-frequency follow current, while maintaining zero leakage current and zero power consumption during normal operation.
The independent two-pole structure prevents a single-pole failure from affecting the entire device. High-purity copper conductive components ensure low resistance, strong current carrying capacity, and low temperature rise under high current conditions.
The housing is made of UL94V-0 flame-retardant material with IP20 protection, ensuring reliable operation in industrial environments.
Compatible with 630A Backup Fuse for High-Current Single-Phase Systems
With a nominal discharge current In of 50kA (8/20μs), voltage protection level Up ≤1.5kV, and response time ≤100ns, the device is suitable for building high-reliability multi-stage lightning protection systems.
Recommended with a 630A gG backup fuse for optimized protection coordination and preventing unnecessary upstream breaker tripping during lightning events.
Equipped with thermal disconnection protection and red/green status indicators, the device provides clear operating status monitoring. Optional remote alarm contacts support centralized monitoring systems.
